Spanish & Portuguese Advanced Optical Microscopy Meeting

Microscopy is one of the reference technologies used in the different disciplines of science and medicine. It is always at the forefront and in continuous evolution so that new developments, technologies and applications are incorporated into research and the market every year.

The Iberian Peninsula has renowned microscopy experts and researchers who use microscopy as an essential tool in the development of their work, as well as large microscopy facilities with high-end equipment, which are continuously updating their resources.

The SPAOM – Spanish-Portuguese Meeting on Advanced Optical Microscopy, co-organised by the Portuguese and Spanish Networks of Advanced Optical Microscopy, aims to promote new knowledge in microscopy applications, developments and technologies, as well as to provide active participation in scientific-technical workshops that bring new technologies and methodologies closer to the attendees, enhancing interactions and collaborations between the scientific community and the industry.

SPAOM 2022 is expected to attract around 200 scientists and more than 20 companies.
