The ESRIC Super-Resolution Summer School is a five-day residential course designed to give participants a thorough grounding in super-resolution microscopy in an informal and intimate setting. It brings together leading academics and the major suppliers of super-resolution microscopes to provide expertise and guidance in the theory, practise and analysis of techniques including structured illumination microscopy (SIM), stimulated emission depletion microscopy (STED), and single molecule localisation microscopies (PALM, sptPALM and dSTORM).
The Summer School will consist of informal lectures and workshops and participants will have ample time to gain project-specific advice from all of the academic experts and suppliers through informal social events. Participants will also have the opportunity to test their own samples on the systems included in the practical workshops to help them identify the best techniques for their research. The course is suitable for anyone with prior experience of fluorescence microscopy looking to exploit the benefits of super-resolution.
