This Fluorescent Biosensor Database (FBDB) was originally created by Eric Greenwald at the University of California San Diego as a tool to organize information for a review genetically encodable fluorescent biosensors [Pubmed] (please cite if you found this resource useful). Now this website was developed to be a community-editable resource to both help researchers find published tools to study cell signaling and aid in the development of new fluorescent biosensors.
