The Vanderbilt Cell Imaging Shared Resource (CISR) has an opening for an entry- to mid-level Research Assistant in our Electron Microscopy (EM) lab. This position involves EM sample preparation, basic imaging, and assistance of three experienced CISR EM staff members. EM instrumentation includes Zeiss Crossbeam 550 Focused Ion Beam Scanning Electron Microscope (FIB-SEM), JEOL 2100+ Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM), and a broad assortment of EM preparation equipment.
